Inpatient Services
 INPATIENT SERVICES:
- Professional nursing staff and a team
of ancillary technical staff provide care to a variety of
patients in our 35 bed Medical Surgical unit. Adult and pediatric
patients who require post-operative care for major and minor
surgery as well as diagnosis and treatment of acute and chronic
medical conditions will find caring and competent staff ready
to meet their healthcare needs.
- A fully equipped five bed Intensive
Care Unit provides the specially trained staff with necessary
data to monitor patients with critical medical and surgical
problems.
OBSTETRICS
- Board Certified Obstetricians provide comprehensive
obstetrical and gynecological services
- As a Level I obstetrical
facility, RPMH offers surveillance and care of all patients
admitted to the department, with an established triage system
for identifying high-risk patients requiring transfer to a
Level II or Level III facility.
- Diagnosis and treatment of potential
or unanticipated maternal-fetal complication that may occur
during labor, delivery and postpartum
- Anesthesia for epidural/spinal
pain control
- Radiology, ultrasound, electronic fetal monitoring,
and laboratory services available 24 hours a day
- Antenatal
care and teaching programs
- Newborn Hearing Screening program
