I was raised in Maryneal, Texas with three sisters and a twin brother. I attended Highland ISD and graduated in 1994. I decided early in my childhood I wanted to be a nurse. I began my journey of becoming a nurse out of high school. I attended Western Texas College and Texas State Technical College. I graduated from the Licensed Vocational Nursing program in 1996. I married my husband, Shane Parker, in November of 1996. I continued my career working as a nurse at Cogdell Memorial Hospital and working on becoming a registered nurse. In 2000, I graduated from Cisco Junior College with an associate degree and earned a Registered Nursing license. I was hired at Rolling Plains Memorial Hospital in 2001. I have worked as a charge nurse on Med/Surg, pre-operative nurse, and staff educator. My current position is Quality Improvement, Risk Management, Performance Improvement Director, and Medical Staff Coordinator. During my time at RPMH, I have completed my Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree and Master of Science in Nursing Leadership and Management degree. I have two daughters, Shaundra and Ronni. My time away from work includes spending time with my family, attending church, leading programs at church, attending school activities, and raising my daughters on our farm in Champion.
