Mary McIntosh, DPT

Mary McIntosh has been practicing physical therapy for over 5 years with an additional focus on pelvic health over the past 2 years of her career.  Mary was born and raised near Seattle, WA and she attended the University of Portland as an undergraduate and then graduated from Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center with her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree.  She began her career as a general physical therapist, treating all ages for various neurological and orthopedic conditions, however, has found a passion for pelvic health.  Mary’s area of expertise is pelvic rehab for women and men of all adult ages with a variety of diagnoses from pregnancy to post-partum, following pelvic surgeries and pelvic pain, and menopause and post-menopause symptoms and all forms of incontinence.  She has a Certificate of Skills Completion in PF1 and PF2B from the Herman and Wallace Pelvic Rehabilitation Institute. She is working on earning her Pelvic Therapy Practitioner Certification via Herman and Wallace Pelvic Rehab Institute.  She has additional certifications in Integrative Dry needling, Rock Tape kinesiology tape, and Rock Tape Blades instrument assist soft tissue massage.  Mary’s mission is to educate individuals on how to heal their own bodies through proper movement and strength training and improve their quality of life. Mary enjoys working at RPMH because of how friendly and welcoming the patients are, the support system built by her co-workers, and the great weather.
