RPMH had a busy week with a lot of celebrating.

Monday:

Environmental Service Standout Wins Employee of the Month

Louisa Granado, a dedicated Housekeeper from the esteemed Environmental Services Department, was recognized as the January Employee of the Month. This prestigious award celebrates her exceptional contributions to maintaining a clean, healthy, and inviting workplace for the entire community.

Wednesday:

Leadership Sweetwater

As part of their comprehensive Health Issues Session, the Leadership Sweetwater Class from The Chamber ventured on an illuminating tour of Rolling Plains Memorial Hospital. The educational journey was led by the knowledgeable and engaging TJ Wilson, who played a pivotal role in guiding the class through various facets of the healthcare facility.

The curious class members eagerly explored numerous closed doors, gaining exclusive access to specialized units and hidden gems within the hospital complex. The itinerary included insightful conversations with several of the hospital's esteemed Directors, who shared their expertise and provided unique perspectives on healthcare delivery.

The interactive sessions allowed the leadership class to delve into the complexities of patient care, technological advancements, and evolving challenges facing the healthcare industry. The tour served as a platform for a comprehensive understanding of the intricacies of hospital operations, from administrative aspects to clinical practices.

The class members left Rolling Plains Memorial Hospital with a newfound appreciation for the dedication and expertise of healthcare professionals. The tour not only enriched their knowledge but also ignited their passion for addressing the healthcare needs of their community. DAISY Foundation Award

In recognition of her exceptional nursing skills and unwavering dedication, Mindy Ballard has been honored with the DAISY Foundation Award for Exceptional Nurses for the first quarter. This prestigious award celebrates nurses who consistently go above and beyond to provide outstanding patient care, making a profound impact on the lives of those they serve.

Rolling Plains Rural Health Clinic Welcomes Dr. RebeccaBurson

The Rolling Plains Rural Health Clinic expanded its medical team with the addition of Dr. Rebecca Burson. Dr. Burson, a respected and experienced physician, started seeing patients at the clinic on Thursday.

Dr. Burson brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to the Rolling Plains Rural Health Clinic. She is committed to providing high-quality, compassionate care to the community. She specializes in Family Medicine and OB and has a particular interest in women’s health.

Dr. Burson is passionate about rural health care and is excited to join the Rolling Plains Rural Health Clinic team. She believes in the importance of providing accessible, affordable care to all members of the community, regardless of their background or financial situation.

The Rolling Plains Rural Health Clinic is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing comprehensive medical care to residents of the region. With the addition of Dr. Burson, the clinic will be able to better serve the needs of its patients and expand its range of services.
